Information Cashflow handles
Cashflow stores the information you provide to operate your account and business workspaces. This can include your name, email address, profile details, business details, team memberships, cashbooks, transactions, contacts, debts, reminders, attachments, reports, and notification preferences.
We may also process basic technical information needed to keep the service working securely, such as session information, device or browser details, error records, and push-notification identifiers.
How information is used
- Provide, synchronize, and secure your Cashflow workspace.
- Generate balances, reports, exports, reminders, and activity records.
- Manage access for business owners and invited team members.
- Respond to support requests and improve service reliability.
- Prevent misuse, investigate errors, and protect accounts.
Sharing and protection
Cashflow does not sell your personal or business information. Data may be processed by trusted service providers that help host, secure, deliver, or support the app. They receive only the access needed to provide those services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when necessary to protect users, the service, or the public.
Workspace access follows the roles and permissions assigned by the business owner. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your sign-in details private and review team access regularly.
Service providers
Vercel hosts the application. Supabase provides database, authentication and file storage services. Firebase Cloud Messaging delivers Android push notifications when enabled. FormSubmit processes messages submitted through the support form. Email delivery providers (Brevo or Resend, as configured) process authentication and invitation messages. These services process information to provide the features you use. Invited team members can access business records according to their assigned permissions.
Retention and your choices
Information is retained while it is needed to provide the service, meet legal or security obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain appropriate records. Business owners can permanently delete an unwanted business from Business Settings. Limited backup records may remain for a reasonable period before they are overwritten.
You can request deletion of your Cashflow account and associated data without signing in. You may also contact support to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your account. Some records may need to be retained where the law requires it.
USING CASHFLOW
Terms of use
Your account and workspace
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting access to your account, and keeping your recovery and contact details current. Business owners are responsible for the people they invite, the permissions they grant, and the content entered into their workspaces.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Cashflow to:
- Break the law, commit fraud, or store unlawful content.
- Access another person's account or data without permission.
- Disrupt, probe, reverse engineer, or overload the service.
- Upload malicious code or misuse invitations and notifications.
Business records and financial decisions
Cashflow is a recordkeeping and business-management tool. It does not provide accounting, tax, legal, investment, or other professional advice. You are responsible for checking entries, balances, reports, and exports before relying on them or submitting them to another person or authority. Keep independent copies of records that your business is legally required to retain.
Service availability and changes
We work to keep Cashflow reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed. Features may be improved, replaced, or discontinued. Access may be limited when needed for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or investigation of misuse.
Ownership and responsibility
You retain ownership of the business content you enter. You grant Cashflow the limited permission needed to store, process, display, and transmit that content to operate the service. Cashflow's software, design, branding, and original materials remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
To the extent permitted by law, Cashflow and its developers are not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, or decisions made from inaccurate or incomplete records. Nothing here removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
